Molasses

Molasses is the final syrup remaining after sugar can no longer be crystallized during the industrial processing of sugar beet and sugar cane in sugar factories. It serves as a fundamental raw material in the alcohol, yeast, feed, and biofuel industries. Due to its cost efficiency, it is also widely used as a substrate in citric acid fermentation processes.
